Original Recipe - Amazing Vegan Cheese Sauce @brandnewvegan
Ingredients
Makes about 6-7 cups of sauce
3 yukon potatoes
2 large carrots (2-3)
¼ cup nutritional yeast (+ 2 additional tbs)
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp brown mustard (more or less to taste)
⅛ tsp turmeric (more or less to taste)
Instructions

Wash potatoes and carrots (peeling is optional, I partially peel)

Chop potatoes and carrots

Boil or steam until tender

Let cool for a few minutes and transfer cooked veggies to blender

Add potato carrot water 1/4 cup at a time

Blend until desired consistency
